A love theme that holds the melancholy of life's brevity and the beauty of lifelong love. Performed by star violinist Catharina Chen along with some of Norway’s finest, most acclaimed musicians, this serene yet passionate piece can form the backdrop to an achingly intense romance and quiet contemplation alike. The style is melodic and floating, the sound is warm, and the acoustic instruments and tingling harmonies are captured with an intimate and crystal clear sound. Love Theme is composed by Solveig Sørbø, who recently received attention for the opera Heroin Chic, which she is currently developing together with author Maria Kjos Fonn. Love Theme was originally written for the film Hans pluss Liv and subsequently rearranged in a neoromantic style encouraged by Arve Tellefsen.
