Arctica, PYSJ - Om Song - Arctica Remix

about

A dark ambient remix bringing damp abundant forests to mind.

Arctica - Quote:
"This work is a mix of ambient with soft vocals and classical instruments such as piano and strings. Unlike the original, the remix can be divided into two parts. Where in the first one you can hear a soft drone with almost inaudible ethereal vocals that intertwine with the quiet singing of birds. Gradually, with the development of the composition, darker tones begin to build up and the vocals become cleaner. However, thanks to the virtues of the original, in the second half of the track, along with a darker ambient, strings come into play that bring the sound of darkwave. Combining ambient and strings with a withering piano and vocals produce a unique thing in which you can hear combinations of genres. This work may appeal to lovers of ambient, instrumental, and vocal compositions, as well as those who listen to darkwave and neofolk. The idea was to try experimenting with genres. For the Arctica project, this is the first experience and how much it worked out is for you to judge."

about

Soursoil Rec / Pysj Oslo, Norway

PYSJ is a band that loves the simplicity of yellow and a complexity of musical influences. We love pulse and flow and textured sounds that feel like a stream-of-consciousness as much as the minimal and appealingly repetitive
